Grupo Salto strives to provide support and services to all individuals within our member families. This is why a sibling group was formed. While parents are involved in the educational sessions, the siblings of children with Autism are invited to attend sessions with a social worker and an art therapist. This gives them an opportunity to discuss what is on their mind, especially regarding having a sibling with Autism. It is a time where they may learn more about what Autism is, and where they can ask questions about this condition. The group focus is not limited to Autism. The group provides a safe place to discuss other issues at home, school or with friends. This group also encourages socialization with peers who are experiencing similar challenges.

Grupo Salto provee apoyo y servicios a todos los miembros de familias. Por ello, hemos formado un grupo de hermanos. Mientras los padres asisten a las sesiones educativas, se invita a los hermanos de ninos con autismo para participar en sesiones con una trabajadora social y una terapista de arte. Esto les brinda la oportunidad para discutir sus pensamientos, especialmente relacionado a su parentesco una persona que tiene autismo. Este es un momento en el que pueden indagar sobre el autismo y hacer preguntas sobre esta condicion. El enfoque no se limita a autismo solamente. El grupo brinda un lugar seguro y se provee un lugar seguro para discutir asuntos relacionados con la casa, la escuela y amigos. Este grupo apoya la socializacion con companeros que experimentan retos similares.
